The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. Prospective candidates who chose LAUTECH as their institution of first choice during the 2025 UTME or applied for Direct Entry can now begin registration as the portal has been opened by the management.

    LAUTECH Admission Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Additionally, only candidates who chose LAUTECH as their first choice institution are eligible to apply. Candidates are also expected to possess at least five (5) O’ Level credits in not more than two sittings, in subjects relevant to their intended course of study.

For Direct Entry candidates, relevant qualifications such as National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), NCE, or A-Level are required. All Direct Entry applicants must ensure their transcripts are forwarded to LAUTECH before the screening deadline.

    LAUTECH Admission Cut-Off Marks

The general UTME cut-off mark for all eligible courses is 180. However, some departments may set higher benchmarks depending on competitiveness. Candidates are advised to check their chosen faculty requirements to ensure they meet specific departmental cut-offs.
