JAMB and School Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session is now available online. Below, you will find the list of schools whose admission lists have been published on the 2025 JAMB CAPS portal, along with instructions on how to check your status. For a step-by-step guide, see our detailed article on how to check admission status on JAMB CAPS portal 2025 .

Admission List 2025/2026: Schools Whose Lists Are Out

This page compiles schools that have begun releasing their 2025/2026 admission lists. For each school, use the official portal link (where available) and also confirm on JAMB CAPS. Bookmark this page—schools are updating in batches (merit/first list, second list, etc.).

Types of Admission Lists for 2025/2026

For the 2025/2026 academic session, admission lists are typically released in several categories. These include:

    • Merit Admission List
    • Second Batch Admission List
    • Third Batch Admission List
    • Supplementary Admission List
    • Vice-Chancellor (VC) Admission List

    1. Merit Admission List (First Batch)

The merit list, often referred to as the first batch, features candidates who achieved the highest combined scores in both the JAMB examination and their departmental aggregate.

    2. Second, Third & Supplementary Lists

    These lists include candidates who:

    • Uploaded their O’level results later than required.
    • Fell slightly short of the merit cut-off score.
    • Were accidentally left out in the first batch.
    • Received offers through the Vice-Chancellor’s list.

    3. Vice-Chancellor’s (VC) Admission List

Although the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) clarified during the 2025 Policy Meeting that the VC list is not officially recognized, some institutions in Nigeria still apply it. Under the guidelines, 90% of admitted students must come through the standard process before up to 10% can be admitted via this special consideration.

The VC list is usually the final list to be published and often appears late in the admission cycle. If you expect to be considered under this category, you may need to wait until the university has completed admitting those who qualified through merit. However, in certain schools, the VC list may be released earlier based on their internal admission arrangements.

    Quick tips:
    • Always confirm your offer on both the school portal and JAMB CAPS before printing your admission letter.
    • If “Admission in Progress” appears on CAPS, keep checking—lists are released in batches.
    • Accept your admission on CAPS immediately when available to avoid losing the offer.

Notes that other schools are updating their lists for the 2025/2026 cycle. Keep checking your chosen school’s portal and JAMB CAPS for real-time status.

How to Check Admission on JAMB CAPS

    1. Visit efacility.jamb.gov.ng and log in with your JAMB email and password.
    2. Click Check Admission Status → select your year → enter your Registration Number.
    3. Open Access my CAPSAdmission Status.
    4. If offered admission, click ACCEPT (do not click Reject unless you are sure).

What to Do After You’re Offered Admission

    • Accept on CAPS and print your JAMB Admission Letter.
    • Print your school’s Admission Offer/Acceptance Letter and pay the acceptance fee (if required).
    • Follow your school’s clearance schedule: upload O’level(s), birth certificate, local government ID/indigene letter, etc.
    • Watch for deadline dates on acceptance and registration to avoid forfeiture.

    Important Notes

    • Lists are released in batches (Merit/First, Second, Supplementary). Keep checking even if you’re not yet admitted.
    • Ensure your O’level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS. Missing uploads can delay/deny admission.
    • Where a school portal shows your name but CAPS has not updated, give it some time and recheck—synchronization can make it delayed.
