Applications are now open for the Lagos State University (LASU) 2025/2026 admission screening exercise. If you’re a UTME or Direct Entry candidate aiming for LASU, this is a must-read!
1. Cut‑Off Mark & Eligibility Criteria
A minimum of 195 UTME score is required, along with these conditions:
- UTME Candidates (100-Level):
- Must have selected LASU as First Choice in UTME
- Scored at least 195
- Must be 16 years or older by October 1, 2025
- Pre-Degree (PDS) Students:
- Completed LASU’s Pre‑Degree program
- Chosen LASU as first choice, with a minimum UTME score of 195
- Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
- Must possess a valid DE form from JAMB
- LASU diploma is acceptable (except NCE for Education courses)
- Lagos Indigenes:
- Must have verified state of origin through the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC)

3. Registration & Application Steps
A. Online Payment & Registration
- Go to www.lasu.edu.ng
- Navigate to Student → New Applicants → UTME/DE Screening
- Log in using UTME reg. no. and surname
- Click “Make Payment (Admission Screening)”
- Provide JAMB reg. no., choose “Admission Screening Fee”, select Ojo campus and Student category
- After payment, return to your dashboard and click “Start Admission Screening”
- Enter transaction ID and complete your self-screening
Note: To correct any submitted information, you must make another payment and restart the process.
B. Self‑Screening Form
Complete the form with correct details:
- Personal: Name, date of birth, gender, state of origin, contact info
- Academic: UTME subjects, O’Level results (max 2 sittings, 5 credits required)
- Engineering and Aeronautics require Physics, Chemistry, English, Maths, and Further Maths
- Lagos indigenes must upload IIVC clearance
Important: O’Level results must be uploaded to JAMB CAPS before the deadline. No result submissions after July 2025 will be accepted.
C. Submission & Result Download
- Review your details before submission
- Submit and download the screening report using your UTME reg. number
4. Duration & Screening Method
- Registration runs from June 30 to July 26, 2025
- LASU uses a point grading system based on UTME and O’Level scores
5. Tips for a Smooth Screening Experience
- Double-check your entries before submission
- Upload all necessary documents (e.g., IIVC clearance, O\'Level)
