    JAMB Form 2026/2027 Is Out: Dates, Fees, Requirements & Registration Steps

    Quick Take: JAMB has confirmed that 2026 UTME/DE registration starts 10 February 2026. The form costs about ₦4,700 (excluding extra charges). You’ll need your NIN, generate a profile code, buy your e-PIN, and complete registration at an accredited CBT centre.

    Requirements for JAMB Registration 2026

    • National Identification Number (NIN)
    • Valid email address
    • O’level results (or Awaiting Result)
    • Profile code (generated via SMS)
    • JAMB e-PIN
    • Registration fee

    Step-by-Step Registration Guide

    1. Send your NIN by SMS to 55019 to get a profile code.
    2. Purchase your e-PIN online, at a bank, or approved vendor.
    3. Visit an accredited CBT centre to complete biometrics and final registration.

    UTME vs Direct Entry (DE)

    UTME

    • For SSCE holders (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
    • You must sit for the UTME exam.
    • Admission starts from 100 level.

    Direct Entry (DE)

    • For ND, HND, NCE, A-Level, or Degree holders.
    • No UTME exam required.
    • Admission usually into 200 or 300 level.

    Extra Tips

    • You can choose up to 3 universities, 1 polytechnic, and 1 college/technical school.
    • Only one university can be your first choice.
    • If you register with Awaiting Result, remember to upload your O’level later.
    • Confirm the nearest accredited CBT centre before registration.
