Gone are the days when you must visit a cybercafe to check your WAEC result. With your mobile phone, you can now access your WAEC result anytime, anywhere — either by using the online WAEC portal or via SMS. This guide will show you step-by-step how to check your WAEC result without leaving your home.

What You Need to Check Your WAEC Result
- Your WAEC Examination Number (e.g., 4250101234)
- Your result checker PIN (e-PIN or scratch card)
- Internet access (for online method) or airtime (for SMS method)
Method 1: Checking Your WAEC Result Online
- Open your phone’s browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox)
- Go to https://www.waecdirect.org
- Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number
- Select your Examination Year (e.g., 2025)
- Select your Examination Type (e.g., May/June)
- Enter your result checker PIN and serial number
- Click on “Submit” to see your result
Method 2: Checking Your WAEC Result via SMS
This method is useful when you don’t have access to the internet. Just follow these steps:
Send the following SMS format to 32327:
WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear
Example: WAEC*4250101234*123456789012*2025
Wait for a response containing your result. SMS charges may apply (about ₦30).
