Total candidates who sat for the exam: 1,814,344
Candidates with complete results: 1,692,256
Candidates with five credits including English and Maths: 1,402,284 (77.82%)
Results withheld due to suspected exam malpractice: 262,803 (14.49%)

This year’s performance shows a slight improvement compared to the 2024 results. WAEC also noted that some candidates experienced biometric verification issues and were not allowed to sit for all subjects.
