The screening will run <strong>from Monday, 11 August 2025<\/strong><br \/>\n    and end on <strong>Thursday, 11 September 2025<\/strong>. There will be <strong>no extension<\/strong><br \/>\n    beyond the stated closing date, so candidates should complete their registration promptly.\n  <\/p>\n<h2>Who is eligible for UNIMAID Admissions?<\/h2>\n<p>To participate in the screening exercise you must meet the following eligibility criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only candidates who selected <strong>University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID)<\/strong> as their <strong>first choice<\/strong> in the 2025\/2026 JAMB UTME or Direct Entry are eligible.<\/li>\n<li>UTME candidates must have a minimum UTME score of <strong>150<\/strong>, except where a higher cut-off is specified for certain courses on the UNIMAID website.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must meet the correct UTME subject combination for their chosen course as prescribed in the <strong>2025 JAMB brochure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates who do not meet the course requirements will be allowed to change to another course only if they meet that course&#8217;s requirements.<\/li>\n<li>All candidates must possess a minimum of <strong>five (5) O\u2019Level credits<\/strong> in subjects relevant to their proposed course, including <strong>English Language<\/strong> and <strong>Mathematics<\/strong>, obtained in not more than two sittings (WAEC\/NECO\/NABTEB).<\/li>\n<li>Direct Entry candidates must have at least a <strong>Lower Credit<\/strong> at National Diploma\/HND level or a <strong>Merit<\/strong> at NCE level (as applicable).<\/li>\n<li>Only O\u2019Level result printouts downloaded directly from the examination body websites (WAEC\/NECO\/NABTEB) or photocopies of original certificates will be accepted for verification.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must ensure their O\u2019Level results are uploaded to their <strong>JAMB CAPS<\/strong> profile before the screening.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>UNIMAID Screening Fee<\/h2>\n<p>All candidates must pay a non-refundable screening fee of <strong>\u20a62,000 (Two Thousand Naira)<\/strong>.
